108 MANIFESTATIONS: Winter Solstice Lunar Eclipse 2010
I have been away from my blog for a while and am happy to be jumping back on posting about the eclipse. Sadly, we missed it here in Syracuse, NY due to a cloudy sky. Still, I sat up at 1am and mediated on the current moment, the new year, and sent healing to my mother (whose story I will tell when I return from India post February 10th 2011). I went to bed after a night of japa mala mantra.
I awoke again at 5:30am to sit in front of the largest window in my home to look deep into the sky and manifest this new year bringing much positivity and clear direction, not just for me but for all of us. We are in a transitional time as a world. There are those really trying to change it for the better and those just staying in a one track mind thinking nothing needs an update (ignorance is bliss). Now is the time to make some changes and stop dragging your feet. Not only because it is a new year but because this celestial astrological sequence of events has not happened in over 300 years and the fact that it happened smack dab during an auspicious time during the Kali Yuga, or dark ages (call it the recession, war, etc) is a wake up call to make some conscious decisions in our life ultimately uplifting the lives of others. It is a waste of time to not realize your full potential and offer it to others in the most humble way. We will be better friends, mothers, fathers, employees, and human beings.
"If you are humble nothing will touch you, neither praise nor disgrace, because you know what you are." — Mother Teresa
Reflect during this sacred time. Project goodness, visualize your goals, and live in the most purified self.
